Tullos and Stroud Discuss Friday Night Injury Clinic
Jessica M. Tullos, DO, a physician with Hattiesburg Clinic Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, and Gary Stroud, MS, LAT, ATC, athletic trainer manager, recently spoke with WDAM about the Friday Night Injury Clinic offered to student-athletes.
The injury clinic is a free service offered to local, student-athletes throughout the high school football season. This service is provided to the 26 area schools serviced by Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine.
“No insurance is required for those visits; we don’t charge for the visit with the physician,” Tullos said. “Obviously, if there’s an injury that requires follow-up with further imaging or anything like that, those will be set with insurance accordingly.”
The clinic is open starting Friday nights from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and is located in the Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine building at 103 Medical Park in Hattiesburg, next to Tatum Park.
