Huff & Cooper Presented with Cheers from Your Peers
The WOW! committee would like to congratulate Elisa Huff and Angel Cooper of Richton Family Medicine for receiving Cheers from Your Peers. Huff is a licensed practical nurse and Cooper is a lab technician. They are being recognized for going the extra mile in caring for their patients.
In a recent WOW! nomination, Becky Campo with Picayune Dialysis shared the following:
Elisa Huff and Angel Cooper went above and beyond showing care and compassion for a patient who was home recovering from two hospital stays. They took time out of their day to deliver dinner to the patient and her husband.
“For them to take the extra time to buy dinner and deliver it shows how they take care of their patients. I think they need to be recognized for being there for their patients and looking out for their wellbeing. It shows that patient care doesn’t end when the patient walks out of the door of their clinic.” Campo said.
