Meet Victoria Quick with Allergy, Asthma & Immunology
As manager of Hattiesburg Clinic Allergy, Asthma & Immunology, Victoria Quick has helped create a work environment that enables her department to shine. Having been with the clinic for just over one year, Quick has become a vital part of that team and earned a well-deserved moment in the employee spotlight. Her personal values, ones that mirror the clinic’s values, are closely tied to the respect she shows to both patients and coworkers.
Among all the duties as the manager of her department, she considers her most important role to be that of one who ensures patient satisfaction and keeps her team engaged and motivated. With careful oversight of operational workflows, she helps create an environment that both fosters cooperation and ensures patients receive high quality care.
Quick finds immense joy in seeing the relationships formed within the department. She explained this by saying, “We see the majority of our patients multiple times each month while providing allergy and asthma treatment. This allows our staff to build rapport with them.” These ties built between physicians, providers, staff and patients highlight the human connection that goes beyond the clinical setting. “It’s so rewarding to hear their conversations,” Quick said.
Quick takes genuine pride in the positive feedback she hears from patients. Compliments about the receptionists, patient account representative, nurses and physicians echo the commitment and excellence of the entire department. “It makes me proud and helps me realize that even though our department is small, we are making a lasting impression on our patients and how they view Hattiesburg Clinic,” she said.
Outside the clinic, Quick leads a fulfilling life centered around her family. Married to her high school sweetheart, Joseph Quick, for almost five years, her family includes their beloved dog, Murphy, who has been a part of their lives for over seven years. Their plans often revolve around creating moments with Murphy, emphasizing the importance of family bonds in Quick’s life. Raised in Bassfield, Miss. she graduated from Prentiss Christian School and went on to attend the University of Southern Mississippi. After having lived in Georgia, Oklahoma and Louisiana, she and her husband decided to move back home where they are happy to be surrounded by friends and family again.
Summing up her essence in three words, Quick describes herself as caring, honest, and amicable. These qualities not only define her professional approach but also reflect the atmosphere of compassion, commitment and respect that Hattiesburg Clinic strives to embody.
