Gaylen P. Sanders, MD, is a physician with Hattiesburg Clinic The Pediatric Clinic.
Dr. Sanders received her medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson, Miss. She completed an internship and residency in pediatrics at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Miss., and was chosen to stay on as a Pediatric Chief Resident upon completion of her residency.
Sanders is board certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics and is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She has special practice interests in nutrition and breastfeeding counseling.
At The Pediatric Clinic, she provides comprehensive care to children from birth through adolescence. Her goals at Hattiesburg Clinic are to provide proper care and sufficient education to pediatric patients and their families to ensure they have the knowledge necessary to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
