Hospital Care Service Welcomes Serag B. Fares, MD
Serag B. Fares, MD, recently joined Hattiesburg Clinic Hospital Care Service, where he provides care for patients exclusively while they are in the hospital.
Dr. Fares received his medical degree from the University of Tripoli Faculty of Medicine in Tripoli, Libya. He completed residencies in internal medicine at Tripoli Medical Center in Tripoli, Libya, and The Doctors Hospital at Renaissance – University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in Rio Grande Valley, Texas. He also completed a fellowship in hospice and palliative care medicine at The Doctors Hospital at Renaissance – University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
Fares is board eligible in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Physicians and Doctors Without Borders.
