Critical Care Medicine Welcomes W. Anthony Adcock, AGACNP
W. Anthony Adcock, AGACNP, recently joined Hattiesburg Clinic Critical Care Medicine, where he provides care to patients in need of intensive medical care or life support.
Adcock received his Bachelor of Science in nursing from The University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, Miss., and his Master of Science in nursing from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minn.
He is board certified as an adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, with additional certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS). He is a founding member of the ICU Unit Nurse Council, and serves as a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, Mississippi Nurses Association and American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
“Working as a critical care nurse for many years, I love the challenge it presents and enjoy the opportunity to help people,” said Adcock.
