Rajesh N. Janapala, MD, is a physician with Hattiesburg Clinic Hospital Care Service.
Dr. Janapala received his medical degree from Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science & Technology in Wuhan, China, where he also completed his internship. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence, R.I. He is board certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine, American College of Physicians and American Medical Association.
At Hospital Care Service, Janapala cares for patients in the hospital. He monitors their condition, orders and interprets diagnostic tests and adjusts treatment plans as needed. He also coordinates a patient’s hospital care with his or her primary care physician to ensure the patient receives timely and effective care and has a smooth transition back to outpatient treatment.
