Hospital Care Service Welcomes Rajesh N. Janapala, MD
Rajesh N. Janapala, MD, recently joined Hattiesburg Clinic Hospital Care Service, where he provides care for patients exclusively while they are in the hospital.
Dr. Janapala received his medical degree from Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science & Technology in Wuhan, China, where he also completed his internship. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence, R.I. He is a member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine, American College of Physicians and American Medical Association.
At Hospital Care Service, Janapala cares for patients in the hospital. He monitors their condition, orders and interprets diagnostic tests and adjusts treatment plans as needed. He also coordinates a patient’s hospital care with his or her primary care physician to ensure the patient receives timely and effective care and has a smooth transition back to outpatient treatment.
“The most rewarding aspect of health care is positively impacting patients’ lives during vulnerable moments by providing comfort, diagnosing conditions and guiding them through recovery,” Ahmad said.
