Hattiesburg Clinic Celebrates United Way of Southeast Mississippi’s 85^th Anniversary

Hattiesburg Clinic recently attended the United Way of Southeast Mississippi’s 85th Anniversary Celebration on Thursday, April 24, 2025. During the event, organizations were recognized for their decades of service while looking ahead to future initiatives that will continue to impact the community. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Dolly Parton Imagination Library program, which provides free books to children every month from birth until age five.

Harlon Aultman, marketing manager with Hattiesburg Clinic, has participated in the workplace campaign for years and currently serves as one of the clinic’s United Way campaign coordinators. He shares, “United Way of Southeast Mississippi is such an incredible organization. I am amazed by the momentous, positive impact this organization has on various communities through the combined work of volunteers, contributors and partners. The support provided to the diverse range of needs is absolutely admirable.”

United Way of Southeast Mississippi is a local nonprofit organization that strives to make a positive impact in Forrest, Lamar, Marion and Perry Counties. The organization provides financial assistance to local partnering agencies and addresses community issues in the four impact areas of education, economic mobility, health and support services. Every donation made to United Way of Southeast Mississippi helps support 20 partner agencies and programs in the Pine Belt.

“Hattiesburg Clinic physicians and employees directly impact these communities by signing up to give monetarily through workplace giving,” Dawn Walker, generalist in Human Resources and United Way campaign coordinator at Hattiesburg Clinic, said. “Our partnership with United Way of Southeast Mississippi is a reflection of that commitment, and we are honored to celebrate this milestone alongside other local leaders and advocates.”
