Spine Center Welcomes Kara H. Box, FNP
Kara H. Box, FNP, recently joined Hattiesburg Clinic Spine Center, where she provides care for patients who are recovering from a spinal cord injury or disorder.
Box received her Master of Science in Nursing at the Mississippi University for Women College of Nursing & Health Sciences in Columbus, Miss. She is board certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of the Mississippi Nurses Association.
“I knew from an early age that I wanted to be a nurse, so that I could help take care of others,” Box said. “I enjoy meeting new people and making a difference in patients’ lives.”

The providers with Hattiesburg Clinic Spine Care evaluate each patient and develop a plan for diagnostic evaluation and treatment evidence-based guidelines. Spine Care works closely with several of the Clinic’s related services including Imaging, Neurosurgery and Physical Therapy to effectively manage patients. Physician-referred patients are accepted at both locations. Appointments are required. However, same-day appointments are available when needed.
