Gastroenterology – Hospital Care Welcomes Carson A. Luke, FNP
Carson A. Luke, FNP, recently joined Hattiesburg Clinic Gastroenterology – Hospital Care, where she provides care for hospitalized patients with gastrointestinal issues.
Luke received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Oxford, Miss., and her Master of Science in nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Birmingham, Ala. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
At Gastroenterology – Hospital Care, Luke provides evaluation and treatment for hospitalized patients with intestinal tract, liver and pancreatic care needs. Gastroenterology hospitalists treat a range of digestive issues, such as gallstones, inflammatory bowel disease, pancreatitis, hepatitis and cirrhosis. Her goal is to improve her patients’ quality of life.
“The medical field is constant education – you can never know too much. I love to learn, and I want to become fluent in my field,” Luke said.
