Katie Lohman and Amanda Skaggs Presented with Cheers from Your Peers
The Hattiesburg Clinic WOW! Committee would like to congratulate Katie Lohman and Amanda Skaggs, accounts payable clerks in the accounting department, for receiving the Cheers from Your Peers award.
“Running checks” is an important step in the accounts payable process because this involves approving and executing payments in a timely manner. Despite the fact that this process was not something either of them did regularly, Katie and Amanda rose to the challenge and completed the task with no errors.
Melissa West, manager of Accounts Payable said, “We are very proud of them for going out of their comfort zone to show how teamwork is done. Thank you ladies for all you do!”

The WOW! Committee is a team of 17 Hattiesburg Clinic employees who meet on a monthly basis to discuss employee engagement initiatives. During meetings, they review nominations submitted by employees who are eager to recognize their coworkers.
