Patient Support Services
Our hematology and oncology program is about more than just providing services—we aim to help improve our patients’ quality of life. We offer wrap-around services for patients and their families as they navigate difficult cancer diagnoses. Specialized nurse navigators can help patients with everything from scheduling their next appointment to accessing financial resources to afford care to getting a ride to and from an appointment. A nurse dietician can provide counseling to patients to manage their diet before and after treatment. Finally, in the circumstances where patients need it, we offer palliative care planning and coordination to help improve patient’s quality of life and ease any side effects or pain when they are not pursuing curative treatment.
