Diabetes Care February Support Group
Hattiesburg Clinic Diabetes Care is offering a series of monthly support group sessions to provide education, encouragement and practical tools for managing diabetes effectively.
The first session will take place on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., at Cloverleaf Medical Plaza, located at 5905 Highway 49, in Hattiesburg, Miss. Enter at the LiveWell Center entrance and go to the classroom two doors down the hall to the right.
The topic for the February session is “Mindful Eating,” presented by Linda Gwaltney, MS, RDN, LDN, CDCES. Ms. Gwaltney, a certified diabetes care and education specialist, will share strategies for making informed dietary choices to promote better health and well-being.
These sessions are open to anyone seeking support and guidance in managing their diabetes. Attendance is free, and no registration is required.
