Katherine P. Alexis, MD, is a physician with Hattiesburg Clinic Oak Grove Family Clinic.
Dr. Alexis received her medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson, Miss. She completed an internship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, where she also completed her residency in family medicine.
Alexis is board certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine. She is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians, Association of Family Medicine Residency Directors, Society of Teachers of Family Medicine and the Mississippi Academy of Family Physicians.
Her goal as a provider is to teach patients about their illness and how to care for themselves.
