Barbara S. Barnard, DO, is a physician with Hattiesburg Clinic Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
Dr. Barnard is board certified by the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She received her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pa. She completed an internship at Frankford Hospitals-Jefferson Health System in Philadelphia, and a residency program in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Va. She also holds a master’s degree in Health/Fitness Management from the American University in Washington, D.C.
Barnard is a member of the International Spine Intervention Society and the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She has special interests in back pain and spine care. Barnard is constantly refining her procedural skills and looking for new ways to treat the cause of pain.
