John R. Moore, MD, is a physician with Hattiesburg Clinic Urology.
Dr. Moore received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson, Miss. He completed a general surgery internship and a urology residency at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Fla. He is board certified in urology by the American Board of Urology and is a member of the American Urological Association.
Moore provides comprehensive urologic care, with a focus on minimally invasive procedures for a range of urologic needs. He has several special practice interests, including robotic surgery, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), urolithiasis, laser procedures for kidney stones, erectile dysfunction and urinary incontinence. Moore also provides treatment for cancers of the prostate, kidney and bladder.
Moore was also awarded the UroLift® Center of Excellence designation. This is provided to physicians who have achieved a higher level of training and experience with the UroLift System.
