“I chose to be a physician because the medical field is a perfect combination of science and service. Medicine gives me a chance to utilize physiology and problem-solving to positively impact the lives of others. I feel that anesthesiologists are privileged with a unique patient interaction. We often meet people at their most vulnerable moments and are able to introduce a sense of calm and comfort to them.” – Justin D. Pipkins, MD
