Meet Christine Sandifer, Immediate Care Manager

For eight years, Christine Sandifer has served as the manager of Hattiesburg Clinic Immediate Care where she enjoys the family-oriented culture. In her role, she encompasses leadership, mentorship and ensuring high-quality patient care. Sandifer’s responsibilities go beyond the day-to-day operations, as she focuses on nurturing the professional growth of her team members. Sandifer has developed an understanding of true leadership through her time at Hattiesburg Clinic. “Leadership is not about the leader,” she reflects, “but about the outcome of the followers.” This philosophy shapes her approach, as she leads with humility, compassion and a focus on others’ success.

Sandifer was born in New Orleans, LA, and grew up in Lumberton, Miss. For the past 31 years, she has called Hattiesburg her home. After graduating from Lumberton High School, Sandifer pursued higher education at Pearl River Community College, The University of Southern Mississippi and Grand Canyon University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in professional development and advanced patient care, followed by a master’s in health care administration.

Her career path is as diverse as it is impressive. Sandifer started her career as a patient transporter at Forrest General Hospital and later worked at other organizations in various roles such as a nurse assistant, phlebotomist and certified ophthalmic assistant. Her experience in patient care, medical insurance and information systems equipped her with the skills to excel as the manager of Immediate Care.

Outside of work, Sandifer has three brothers and two sisters with many nieces and nephews. Sandifer says most people would be surprised to know that she is a pastor and spends her free time preparing for church events, studying and staying active in her congregation. Sandifer inspires those around her through her charisma, loyalty and kindness.

In all she does, Sandifer embodies Hattiesburg Clinic’s values of compassion and vision, leaving a lasting impact on everyone she encounters.
