Where are the locations of your labs?

  • Our main laboratory is on the first floor of the main clinic, located at 415 S. 28th Ave.
  • Select Hattiesburg Clinic locations offer on-site collection and testing depending on the type of test ordered.

What hours are lab services available?

The laboratory at the main clinic is open 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Satellite clinic lab hours vary by location. Please call your doctor’s office to inquire about lab testing at one of our convenient locations.

Do I need to have an appointment for lab services?

The main clinic laboratory accepts orders from all Hattiesburg Clinic providers, as well as outside referring providers with a valid order. The main clinic lab is a walk-in only department and orders are collected on a first come, first served basis. Some satellite locations may require an appointment.

What tests do you offer?

Our laboratory services include testing for a variety of conditions, such as general wellness, prostate screenings, metabolic counts, cholesterol levels, glucose levels, thyroid function, anemia, infections and more. We provide pre-op testing and EKGs at our main clinic location. Our labs partner with outside health care groups for genetic screenings, allergy tests and any cultures.

How long does it take to get my blood test results back?

With the convenience of a CLIA (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments) certified, high-complexity lab on-site, Hattiesburg Clinic offers same-day turnaround time on most tests ordered by your provider. Additionally, the lab is partnered with a referral lab who offers fast resulting times, as well. All results are sent to the ordering provider, as well as uploaded directly to the patient’s Iris account as soon as they are available. Questions regarding results should be directed to your provider’s office.

Where can I view my lab results?

Lab results are available through the Iris patient portal, or directly from your referring provider. If you have questions about accessing your results, please call your provider’s office directly.

How do I pay for my lab work?

Lab work is billed separately. For any billing questions please contact Hattiesburg Clinic’s billing office directly at (601) 264-6000.

Can I call the lab about my order?

For questions about your lab orders, please call your referring provider’s office. The lab cannot assist with order-related inquiries.
