CO2 Laser Resurfacing
At Hattiesburg Clinic, we offer CO2 Laser Resurfacing as a cosmetic service to our patients. Through this service, we can dramatically reduce facial wrinkles, scars and blemishes. The CO2 laser gives our skin professionals a new level of control and is used for correction of moderate-to-severe photoaging and other conditions such as acne scarring.
CO2 Laser Resurfacing is particularly effective for:
- Fine lines or wrinkles around the eyes, forehead or mouth
- Scars caused by acne or trauma
- Aged or sun-damaged skin
- Enlarged oil glands on the nose
CoolPeel®
CoolPeel is a non-ablative laser treatment that creates tiny openings in the skin to promote the body’s natural healing response, stimulating collagen growth and restoring a smooth, fresh surface. It is an innovative way to safely deliver the benefits of a traditional CO2 resurfacing treatment by targeting only the superficial layer of skin tissue, removing damaged skin and revealing younger and healthier-looking skin. CoolPeel is a non-invasive, non-surgical in-office procedure that reveals smoother, healthier, younger-looking skin without the redness, flaking or peeling typically associated with CO2 Lasers treatments. It uses the SmartXide Tetra CO2 laser.
DEKA® Peel
The DEKA Laser is a laser treatment option for skin resurfacing. There are two types of DEKA Laser treatments: DEKA “remodeling” and DEKA DOT (Dermal Optical Thermolysis). DEKA “remodeling” is a resurfacing option for deeper wrinkles and textural problems. The micro-injury created during the treatment will stimulate collagen, resulting in smoother, stronger, tighter, and more even skin. DEKA DOT is a fractional CO2 laser system that can rejuvenate the skin by stimulating new collagen production. During this laser skin resurfacing treatment, the advanced laser creates microscopic channels in the skin, leaving a pattern of tiny wounds that signal the body’s natural healing process. It uses the SmartXide Tetra CO2 laser.
