Eye Associates provides vision screenings, eye care education at local health fair
Hattiesburg Clinic Eye Associates participated in the Medicare Health Fair held on Friday, Sept. 30, and provided free vision screenings for over 100 patients.
“The purpose of a vision screening is to help identify eye issues or vision disorders early and provide a referral to an eye care specialist if further examination or treatment is needed. An annual eye exam is very important, especially for those with diabetes or hypertension,” Angela Jolley, an Ophthalmic Technician at Eye Associates, said. “We were grateful for the opportunity to provide free screenings at the event and share other valuable information about eye care health with our community members.”
The Medicare Health Fair was made possible through the Care Management Organization (CMO) Insurance Agency, a division of Forrest Health and Hattiesburg Clinic.
