Meet Carlos Reed with Housekeeping

Meet Carlos Reed, a dedicated member of the housekeeping team at Hattiesburg Clinic. Reed plays a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of the clinic, focusing on the fifth-floor procedure rooms, bathrooms and lobbies. His hard work helps create a welcoming and safe environment for both patients and staff.

Reed takes pride in his job, especially cleaning the procedure rooms, knowing his efforts contribute to a positive experience for patients. “The most enjoyable aspect of my role is the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life,” he says. Working at Hattiesburg Clinic has also allowed him to interact with individuals from diverse social backgrounds, a benefit he truly values.

Outside of work, Reed has a wide range of interests and talents – one of which includes his love for playing the drums, something he has been doing for over 30 years. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling with his wife to explore new destinations, as well as pursuing hobbies like playing pool, grilling and taking long walks on the beach. Reed, who previously worked in the automotive departments at various local car dealerships, hopes to expand his knowledge of automotive work in the future.

A proud native of Hattiesburg, Reed has deep roots in the community. He attended Hattiesburg High School and has lived in the city his entire life. Family is central to his life, and he cherishes time spent with his wife, their four children—two sons and two daughters—and two grandsons.
