DOT and Non-DOT Physicals Overview
The occupational medicine team at Hattiesburg Clinic is committed to the health and safety of employees in the workplace. As part of that effort, we are proud to offer DOT and non-DOT physicals to individuals operating commercial vehicles.
Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals are required to ensure drivers can operate commercial vehicles safely without putting themselves and the public at risk. These exams are performed by DOT-certified medical examiners to make sure drivers are emotionally and physically fit for the job.
If you have or plan to get your Commercial Driver’s License, this will be required. Federal laws ensure that drivers who operate commercial vehicles complete and pass the DOT physical exam. You will be required to take a test and pass every two years to continue driving.
Accuracy and reliability are crucial when it comes to DOT and non-DOT physicals. That is why it is important to go to a place you can trust. Hattiesburg Clinic can help. We proudly serve employers and drivers throughout South Mississippi.
