Amman Yousaf, MD, is a physician with Hattiesburg Clinic Hospital Care Service.
Dr. Yousaf received his medical degree from the Services Institute of Medical Sciences in Lahore, Pakistan. He completed his residency in internal medicine at McLaren Flint in Flint, Mich., where he also served as Chief Resident of Internal Medicine. He is board certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
As a hospitalist, Yousaf provides continuous care to hospitalized patients – monitoring their condition, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and adjusting treatment plans as needed. He coordinates a patient’s hospital care with his or her primary care physician to ensure the patient receives timely and effective care and has a smooth transition back to outpatient treatment.
