Matthew T. Valentine, MD, is a physician at Hattiesburg Clinic Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine.
Dr. Valentine received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson, Miss. He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery through Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, and a fellowship in adult reconstructive joint surgery through Holy Cross Orthopedic Institute in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Valentine is board eligible in orthopaedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He has a special practice interest in hip and knee arthroplasty procedures, including robotic procedures, technology-assisted procedures and direct anterior and minimally invasive hip arthroplasty.
