Rachael K. Thornton, MD, is a physician at Hattiesburg Clinic Children’s Clinic.
Dr. Thornton received her medical degree from The University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson, Miss. She completed her pediatrics residency at The University of Alabama at Birmingham in Birmingham, Ala.
Thornton is board certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Her special practice interests include newborn care, breastfeeding counseling and adolescent medicine.
At Children’s Clinic, Thornton provides comprehensive care to children from birth through adolescence. Her goal is to provide exceptional medical care while also building meaningful, long-lasting relationships with patients and their families.
