Rebecca E. Browning, DO, MS, is a physician with Hattiesburg Clinic Gastroenterology.
Dr. Browning received her medical degree from William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Hattiesburg, Miss. She completed her residency in internal medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Miss., and was distinguished as Chief Resident during this time. Browning completed her gastroenterology fellowship at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Ala.
Browning is board certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and American College of Physicians.
Browning treats patients with a wide variety of gastrointestinal diseases, such as acid reflux (GERD), trouble swallowing (dysphagia), celiac disease, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), chronic liver disease and pancreatic and biliary disorders. She is trained in advanced endoscopic techniques like esophageal pH monitoring and resection of complex polyps.
