The Pediatric Clinic Welcomes Austin N. Southern, MD
Austin N. Southern, MD, recently joined Hattiesburg Clinic The Pediatric Clinic, where he provides evaluation and treatment for patients from birth through adolescence.
Dr. Southern received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson, Miss. He completed his residency in pediatrics at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
Southern is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association and the Mississippi State Medical Association. He has special practice interests in asthma, newborn care and childhood obesity.
“I love the opportunity to walk alongside families, helping children lead healthy lives while educating and encouraging parents and celebrating every milestone,” Southern said.
