Wiggins Clinic Welcomes Samuel A. Twedt, DO
Samuel A. Twedt, DO, recently joined Hattiesburg Clinic Wiggins Clinic, where he provides evaluation, care and treatment for each family member.
Dr. Twedt received his medical degree from William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Hattiesburg, Miss. He completed his residency in family medicine through the North Mississippi Health Services Family Medicine Residency Program in Tupelo, Miss.
He is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians, American Osteopathic Association and Mississippi Osteopathic Medical Association.
At Wiggins Clinic, he provides comprehensive care to meet the total health needs of each family member. He offers prompt, complete assessment of the patient in their home community and can obtain and coordinate consultation with other specialists when necessary. Family physicians receive training in six broad areas of medicine: pediatrics, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, psychiatry, surgery and community medicine. This diverse training allows Twedt to offer continuing, comprehensive care from the newborn to the grandparent.
