Anesthesiology Welcomes Todd A. Versteegh, MD
Todd A. Versteegh, MD, recently joined Hattiesburg Clinic Anesthesiology.
Dr. Versteegh provides a team-based approach to anesthesia by working closely with the surgeon and the patient. He also offers personalized anesthesia care to patients undergoing a medical procedure or surgery.
Versteegh received his medical degree from St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands in the Caribbean. He completed his internship and residency in anesthesiology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Miss.
He is board certified in anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology and is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, Mississippi State Medical Association and Mississippi Society of Anesthesiologists.
I chose Anesthesiology as my specialty because it gave me the opportunity to become a perioperative consultant, which in my opinion is my most important role as an anesthesiologist,” Versteegh said.
