Hospital Care Service Welcomes Mansoor Ahmad, MD
Mansoor Ahmad, MD, recently joined Hattiesburg Clinic Hospital Care Service, where he provides care for patients exclusively while they are in the hospital.
Dr. Ahmad received his medical degree from Khyber Medical College in Peshawar, Pakistan. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Nazareth Hospital, Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic in Philadelphia, Penn.
At Hospital Care Service, he provides care for hospitalized patients. Ahmad monitors their condition, orders and interprets diagnostic tests and adjusts treatment plans as needed. He also coordinates a patient’s hospital care with his or her primary care physician to ensure that the patient receives timely and effective care and has a smooth transition back to outpatient treatment.
“I enjoy the patient interactions I get to have by serving in health care,” Ahmad said.
