Hattiesburg Clinic Hospital Care Service Welcomes Amy R. Douglas, DNP, FNP

Amy R. Douglas, DNP, FNP, recently joined Hattiesburg Clinic Hospital Care Service, where she provides care to hospitalized patients – monitoring their condition, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and adjusting treatment plans.

Douglas received her Doctor of Nursing Practice and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama College of Nursing in Mobile, Ala. Douglas also received her Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Massachusetts Boston Manning College of Nursing and Health Sciences in Boston. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Southern Mississippi College of Nursing and Health Professions in Hattiesburg, Miss.

Her goal is to ensure that the patient receives timely and effective care and has a smooth transition back to outpatient treatment.
